About Second ICPSSE
2nd International Conference on Peace, Security and Social Enterprise seeks to bring together stakeholders in government and private sector with the aim of creating focus on best paradigms needed to entrench peace, security, socio-economic and political development. This will be an excellent platform to examine past and current approaches to peace with a view of identifying viable options to address the emerging challenges that threaten national security and well-being of humanity. The ICPSSE’s founding principle is rooted in the United Nations (UN) sustainable development goal (SDG) 16, which “aims to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels”.

His interests are in community engagement, public engagement through research, universities as a public good, policies on tackling social exclusion through education and social mobility. He is currently manager of the award-winning DMU Square Mile programme that seeks to connect the university with the community demonstrate the university as a public good.His research examines policies that encourage public good in Higher Education and investigates university strategies for tackling social exclusion in local communities.
Prof. Mark Charlton
De Montfort University
He is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Current Kenyan Ambassador to Belgium. His research centers on the link between ICTs and small and medium enterprises with emphasis on how ICTs influence economic development in Africa. He Chaired the Kenya Distributed Ledgers and Artificial Intelligence Taskforce that developed the country’s a road map for digital transformation. He is a senior advisor to the UNCDF’s Better than Cash Alliance and the UN Global Pulse.

She is the Chairperson of IPOA. She is an experienced leader in the areas of Strategy Development and implementation, Company Secretarial, Organizational Review, Performance Management, Culture and Change Management as well as Business Development. She is actively involved in community service in the areas of education, literacy and language development for small and marginalized community groups as well supporting Churches.
